News and Exhibitions
Thank you to everyone who attended our "Art for Heart's Sake" exhibition at The Lifeboat Studio, Porthleven last week.
It was a great week, we were blessed with great weather and and we met lots of lovely people who took the time to come and see us!
I am looking to hold one more exhibition later in the year, either at the end of November or the beginning of December and will provide an update on this shortly..
Thank you all for your continued support
Adding the Blue is back!
The next Adding the Blue Art class of the year will now start in October in Falmouth. Bookings now being taken for that course..
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Mixed Palettes exhibition at The Lifeboat Studio in May (as part of Open Studios) and also for the Adding the Blue Exhibition at The Salthouse Gallery in St Ives between 1st and 4th December 2018. A massive thank you to Penny Rumble, Caroline Atkinson and Digby Atkinson for their huge contribution to provide demonstrations. Although it was cold and wet outside for most of the time, the atmosphere was warm and positive within the gallery and some amazing pieces of work were created.
I am now looking at doing something similar in the Spring so please watch this space!
A massive thank you to the Newquay Society of Artists who invited me to attend and provide a demonstration and chat during the evening of Tuesday 11th December. There was a large turnout of artists who attended and it probably wasn't the best time for me to be trying a paper that I had not used before. I decided to try the Indian Khadi 320gsm rag paper which has a lovely texture and smell. It was an honour and a privilege to be asked to do this for a second time and I had a very enjoyable evening there. This is the finished painting from that demo.
I am currently working on 2 commissions. If you have an idea that you would like to discuss, then please do not hesitate to contact me on 07725877962
Thank you all for your continued support and for visiting my website which is genuinely appreciated.
